Both weekends 168 and 169 can use help with Angels on Saturday for cooking, setting table, singing, serving cook team and washing dishes for the Agape Feast. We also can use your help Sunday for Mananitas. Stay if you can to help the tired cooks make it through Sunday and help pack the trailer.
We are still accepting Pilgrim Applications for both weekends. Pilgrim Applications will be accepted up until the second team training, July 22. Please turn applications in early to ensure there is space available. The past February women’s weekend filled up early.
The Secretariat will be holding our Annual Business Meeting at 8:30 AM on July 15, at First Lutheran in Torrance at 2900 West Carson St. in Torrance. This will be at the beginning of our First Team Training for LC 168,169. All LCSC members are invited whether you are working the weekend or not. At this meeting we will have the Annual Financial Report, Reports of Officers and Committees, and voting for the Election of our Secretariat Vacancies. Please we encourage you to take a few minutes to attend this important meeting. We promise not to drag this out and take up too much of your Saturday. After the Annual Meeting, the team training will proceed as normal. All members who are not working the weekend are free to leave after the Annual Meeting.
