What is Lutheran Cursillo?
Lutheran Cursillo of Southern California is a leadership development organization serving all Lutheran churches. We are a lay-led movement focused on preparing strong Christian leaders to go back into their churches and communities and serve.
As a self-supporting organization, we operate independently of any synod, branch or other church body, but adhere to the core values and teachings of the Lutheran faith. At least one Lutheran Pastor is present on every Cursillo weekend, and a Lutheran Pastor sits on our governing board.
We invite you to browse our site and send us a message on our Contacts page with any questions you may have. Our FAQ page covers some of the most commonly asked questions and gives some useful information about the Cursillo experience. We welcome your questions and will respond quickly.

Please pray about serving on the Secretariat. We have 3 positions available this July. Each term is for 3 years.
Secretariat members who's terms have finished, are Steve Anderson, Debra Welton and Roseanne Yokoyamawho
The guidelines state that there may be only one member from each church on the Secretariat board. Meetings are held the last Monday of each month, excluding December.
Please pray about serving on the Secretariat. If you are interested, write a short article telling about yourself and why you feel called to serve on the Secretariat. Send your article to the News letter editor, Marty Hente (mhente@sbcglobal.net)
